Michael Stuart: Bruins Slap Lightning with a Real Wake-up Call

I honestly thought they had a chance only to be let down once again. Nothing really to say other then the better team won. Lindback really needs to quit spotting teams goals though. I understand this is his 1st time as the #1 but does it come down to system failure or just poor goaltending. It's easy to say the it's the goalie's fault but i'm starting to question our system. Bolts use to give up no shots and have a ton on the board now it's reverse.

Time to seriously look at all the coaches. Who is coaching Lindy that the same mistakes are made night after night? Put red stripes on the floor under the ice so our defenseman know their positioning. Get Lindy a smaller glove he seems to be having trouble with the one that looks like it could catch Delaware in it.
Granted Boston play their system extremely well and capitalize on any mistakes so give them credit where it is due.

We are not at the season half way mark yet so lets not despair. Still lots of time to turn it around and we play in a weak division so we can make the playoffs.

I think that's the glass half full way to look at things. On the other hand, we've got just over 30 games to go. That's like being at the 50+ game mark of a regular season. This is the final stretch here and it needs to be treated as such. It needs to be go, go, go. We can't sit back and say we've got time to figure things out. If we're gunning for a playoff spot, it's go time.
